That's great! Thanks a lot for this!
But it might be good to explicitly state in the description that this version is WITHOUT gpgme!
I think most Jabber users are using encryption, so there should be a note. (Recompiling it with gpgme would of course be even better  :) )

Recompiling with support for encryption in jabber is certainly doable.  However the current GnuPG related extensions in the repo would incur quite a heavy required dependency penalty (gpa.tcz and deps).  Perhaps Onyarian would be willing to recompile his GnuPG extensions splitting out gpgme and also splitting locale and help files to trim extension sizes.
