Title: rpi-writer
Post by: meo on August 25, 2026, 09:04:49 PM
Hi!

I tried rpi-writer on piCore64 but it didn't work. When checking it is missing the following:

libdouble-conversion.so.3

If someone could make an extension containing this file I would be very grateful.

Kind Regards,
meo

Hi meo
That's provided by  double-conversion.tcz.

Hello all!

I Thoght it would work now but now I got a lot of error messages a copy of them below:

QQmlApplicationEngine failed to load component
qrc:/main.qml:588:17: Type SwipeView unavailable
file:///tmp/tcloop/qt-5.x-all/usr/local/lib/qt5/qml/QtQuick/Controls.2/Material/qmldir: plugin cannot be loaded for module ".tmp.tcloop.qt-5.x-all.usr.local.lib.qt5.qml.QtQuick.Controls.Material": Module namespace 'QtQuick.Controls.Material' does not match import URI '.tmp.tcloop.qt-5.x-all.usr.local.lib.qt5.qml.QtQuick.Controls.Material'

If someone can make heads or tails of this I'll admire that person. Something is not working OK but what it is I don't know. I will appreciate if someone want to fix this extension.

Regards,
meo

There's no extension named rpi-writer, do you mean rpi-imager?

If so, did you follow this from the info file:
Quote
qt-5.x-all needs to be copy2fs
$ sudo rpi-imager

Hi Juanito!

I'm not familiar with the copy2fs so I just assumed that it wes done automatically. I didn't sleep anything tonight so that explains the typos. I have been looking for info about copy2fs but I couldn't find something that explained the expression. I should have noticed that it should be started as su.

You can set an extension copy2fs using the apps gui - or you can use "tce-load -ic qt-5.x-all"

rpi-imager dep file adjusted - I see qt-5.x-all doesn't have an info file and thus does not show up in the repo list...

Hi guys!

Thanks for your help! Now it works if you have Xorg-3d running.

Kind greetings from a sunny Sweden,
