Title: Firefox latest
Post by: Rantanplan on June 25, 2026, 10:55:43 AM

Code: [Select]
libXdamage.tcz
Sans cette librairie, impossible de lancer Firefox.

Confirmes-tu ?

Amitiés.

Hi Rantanplan
firefox-ESR.tcz from TC17 depends on gtk3.tcz which depends on libXdamage.tcz.
So it should already be installed.

Hello Rich,

TU for quick answer.

Ok, my gtk3.tcz.dep is not up-to-date.
I'll see this point ASAP.

Good luck.

Friendly.

Hi Rich,

After updating to version 17.0, I went to Apps > Maintenance / Check for updates.

The gtk3.tcz extension wasn't updated.
The libXdamage library wasn't in the list of dependencies.

So, I added .old to the 3 files gtk3.tcz, gtk3.tcz.dep, and gtk3.md5.txt.
Then I downloaded and ran gtk3.tcz (maybe there's a command to force the download and run of an existing extension, but I didn't find one  :D).

The libXdamage library now appears as a dependency.

For me, the ticket is resolved (subjet up-to-date).

Thanks.

After running  Apps > Maintenance / Check for updates , you need to
reboot in order for updates to take effect.

Hello @Rich,

TH

Hi Rantanplan

I did it, but...

Now, TCL runs very good and Firefox too, that's the most important thing. :-)
