I made a tor extension a while back, I’ll take a look - which architecture are you using?

Hi Juanito
Based on JunkYards first post:
https://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php?topic=28126.0
I would say it's x86.

The tor browser appears to be an extensively modified version of firefox, so I think that’s in the too difficult category.

There’s the tor application that looks like it can be used as a proxy by a standard browser, is that any use to you?

So you are saying that Tor Onion copied the firefox and installed a proxy server on it right???

I think it was more complicated than that: https://gitlab.torproject.org/tpo/applications/tor-browser

Leaving aside the tor-browser, there is the tor application, which apparently can be used as a proxy - I can post that if you wish.

I contacted tor asking if they had a browser that was compatible with my win xp OS or if it was possible to make one up. Nar where not interested, said I had to though my machine in the bin and go and buy the latest singing and dancing Bill Boys machine

Yes please do post it, its worth a try?

mostly for future thread visitors arriving here after searching for terms such as tor, onion, web, browser, etc:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tor_(network)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tor_(network)#Firefox/Tor_browser_attacks
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tor_Project
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tails_(operating_system)

@JunkYard, please note with respect to the Tails operating system that it is for 64-bit hardware and requires multiple gigabytes of ram for minimum operatibility.

Is that why Juanito version would not install right? and comes up with the error message because his is 64 bit and my machine is 32 bit right?
