Title: Dillo 3.3 +fltk 1.4+
Post by: nick65go on June 08, 2026, 05:55:04 AM
Just for head-up, maybe usefully for some:
+ Add experimental FLTK >= 1.4 support with the --enable-experimental-fltk
+ Add about:keys to display current keyboard shortcuts.
+ Middle click on back or forward button opens page in new tab.

The dillo.tcz extension is built to use FLTK 1.3 still since Dillo's support for 1.4 is "experimental".

This is a clearer overview of the changes in Dillo 3.3.0 (https://dillo-browser.org/release/3.3.0/).

Hey CNK, sorry if you interpreted my remarks as attack, I know you maintain dilo for TC.
it was more like my suggestion that 64 bits (allow for bigger resources), that there are FEW app, which use FLTK 1.4+, mostly TC default tools form ISO, plus fluff, maybe Dillo (?) and .. nothing else. I mean a decent/minimal file-manager and a internet browser (Dillo can be both) should be by default in a ISO. (Yeah, will not happen soon because low time/resources/etc).

I mean this is like misleading: that FLTK is (heavy) promoted; it is NOT, it is more click-bit to test tinycore, if almost all other apps use GTK1/2/3 or QT.
