Hi, I want to install TinyCore to an old laptop (with only 1 GB RAM).
I've downloaded the current CorePlus image 16.2 and created a bootable USB stick with Balena Etcher. (NB I tried Ventoy before but it wouldn't start the TCL GUI.) Then I booted from this USB stick.
Now I get an overwhelming amount of boot options:
* Core Plus with default FLWM topside (what does "topside" mean in this context?)
* ... with Joe's Window Manager, ICE Window Manager, Fluxbox, Hackedbox, Openbox, FLWM Classic, only X/GUI
* X/GUI + Installation Extension, + Wifi Extension, + Wifi+Firmware
* Command Line only
This is all pretty confusing at this stage.
So when I boot a window manager (such as FLWM), do I get the Wifi and Installer extension as well?
Thanks.

Hi Onktebong
... * Core Plus with default FLWM topside (what does "topside" mean in this context?) ...
That should be a good choice. Topside is the FLWM version that has the
titlebar and buttons at the top of the window. I'm pretty sure it includes
wifi and the installer.
In FLWM classic the window looks like it was rotated 90 degrees counter
clockwise (titlebar and buttons on left edge of window).

One of the messages states:
Press ENTER to boot, TAB to edit, or press F1 for more information.
So if you press F1 while "Boot Core Plus with default FLWM topside." is
highlighted, it should display this:
Boot Core plus support extensions of networking, installation and remastering.
All extensions are loaded mount mode. Boot media is not removable.
