Hello everybody.
I thought the choice of browsers on Tiny Core is a bit lacking and I decided to build Pale Moon for it. No changes to Pale Moon's source code were done, it's just a relatively standard .mozconfig file (I've attached it). I built it using a Devuan Excalibur i386 chroot.
I'm not using Pale Moon's official branding, so the browser goes by New Moon, however, the binary is still called palemoon.
I've not yet made a requirements file. gtk2 is definitely a requirement though.
I recommend you have at least 256MB of RAM. If you're starved for RAM (less than 1GB), don't use uBlock Origin, but instead use ηMatrix, and disable scripts and media in the global scope.
Changes/specialties specific to my config:
- 32-bit build
- Disabled SSE2
- Disabled dbus (it results in a mysterious "bus error" on Tiny Core)
- Official branding disabled
Download (http://fier.me/software) (.md5.txt is in attachments for security reasons)
[EDIT]: Modified link due to forum policy violation. palemoon can be
downloaded from the above link. Rich
