The First Release Candidate of v2.3 (tinycore_2.3RC1.iso), is now posted and ready for testing.

Change log for v2.3 Release Candidate 1
* New appsaudit GUI. Reporting tool for your PPR with marked for deletion extension and unencumbered dependencies.
* New tce-audit command line script engine for appsaudit.
* Updated rc.shutdown to delete "marked" extensions.
* Upgraded busybox to 1.14.3 with new taskset, timeout, mksfs.vfat & acpid applets.
* Implemented busybox.conf for user umount, ping, passwd.
* Updated tc-terminal-server to support microcore image.
* Updated tce2tcz.sh to use squashfs
* Updated xsetup.sh to remove the xorg.conf requirement to support confless.
* Updated tc-config, moved dhcp to after restore to support firmware extensions.

What are busybox acpi applets? How do they relate to acpi and acpid extensions if at all?

They are being withdrawn in favor of the full version extension.
Release Candidates are just that a chance for some things to be tried.
What is found in an RC may not be in the final.
