Hello. On a hard drive installation, I am experiencing this chown bug in version 15.0 that carried over from version 14.0:
Please see:

After I do a hard drive installation, then install wine, htop, chromium and seamonkey, then reboot I get this error on the next boot:
chown: warning: '.' should be ':': 'tc.staff'
chown: warning: '.' should be ':': 'root.staff'
chown: warning: '.' should be ':': 'root.staff'
chown: warning: '.' should be ':': 'tc.staff'
nohup: redirecting stderr to stdout

Hi PoleZeroPlot
Welcome to the forum.
The system scripts were fixed. I suspect it's coming
from the extensions install scripts.
What does this return:
grep chown /usr/local/tce.installed/*
-
For your X error, one of those likely installed Xorg, and you may need additional drivers and/or firmware for your gpu.
-
There is a lot of information, so here is a photo of my screen.
-
The GPU is a really old AMD/ATI RV280 Radeon 9200 Pro PCI.
-
I forgot to mention that I also installed the PCManFM and SpaceFM file managers which showed up in the grep output.
