Title: Really dark global themes, like black
Post by: Vic on November 04, 2023, 02:42:07 PM
I searched and now I am here.

Is there a way to darken everthing?

Window borders, background of file managers and any other programs would be great in black.

Hopefully not just wishful thinking.

I like TC alot and have dabbled with it for nearly 20 years. The Lego format appeals to me.

Thank you to everyone for this cool OS.

I use "gtk-application-prefer-dark-theme=1" in ~/.config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini for GTK3 apps with dark mode.

I have custom colors in ~/.Xdefaults, which you can generate at https://terminal..y/.

You need to define colors individually; using "*" for everything may not look good, as in my case with the editor.

Thank you for replying.

Looks like fun. Down the wabbit hole I go.

Thanks for the info and pointers.
