I'm trying to flash the tiny core iso image into a usb stick using balena etcher but before actually flashing the image i got an error message saying the iso image doesn't have a partition table, after the error i can continue flashing but when i try to boot the usb stick my device doesn't recognize it. I tried to flash the image into a dvd using dd and then boot and it works perfectly, but from previous experience every time i try to flash an iso image into a usb stick using dd when i try to boot it my device doesn't recognize it and so i have to use balena etcher instead, but as i said early in this case it doesn't work.
I also tried tiny core in vm using the same iso image and it works perfectly.
This is the link where i downloaded the iso from: http://tinycorelinux.net/14.x/x86/release/Core-current.iso
The iso has the right checksum.
Sorry if i didn't expressed myself to the better but i'm not english, hoping for advice thanks :)

What operating system are you using now ??
If Windows, you should try out Rufus.

I'm using Lubuntu 20.04

IIRC the smallest iso is not an isohybrid on purpose because it increases size. The TinyCore and CorePlus isos can be dd'd.
-
so what you recomend me to do?
-
You can burn a CorePlus iso to dvd, boot it and then use the tc-install gui to install to the usb stick.
-
Well, you can run isohybrid on the smallest iso yourself locally if you for some reason need that specifically. Then it will have the partition table and be able to be dd'd.

while i do respect the size considerations, there is the case to be made for consistency(given a common-sense/logical/rational/reasonable/Spock/Vulcan/etc cognition) with respect to all the offered isos being isohybrid'ed
a forum search for isohybrid gave two pages of results so i just picked one semi-randomly:
