( to this question; The artificial intelligence did not respond immediately. Days later, he answered the repeated question. )
I asked AI to analyze all open source software on the internet. Errors were found that need to be fixed.
When I asked what the faulty codes were,
He said that security vulnerabilities cannot be shared with the public,
and that fixes should only be reported to the software developer.
He did not give any information by saying !

Is this the same AI that can't produce a coherent and factually correct paragraph?

Which one are you talking about!?

Hi NewUser
I feel referring to AI as "Artificial Intelligence" is a misnomer. In my
opinion there's nothing intelligent about it, artificial or otherwise.
Maybe one of these would be a more accurate definition for AI:
Artificial Ignorance
Artificial Incompetence
Artificial Indecisiveness
Artificial Ineptitude
Artificial Irrationality
Artificial Irrelevance
Artificial Insanity
Artificial Intuition

Hi NewUser
Ha! I couldn't agree more - at this time.
Just to be clear, I do believe AI does have the potential to be beneficial
in some applications. However, I feel results provided by AI should be
vetted and not just blindly accepted.
For example, AI has been used to scan x-rays for cancerous growths and
has successfully spotted signs of cancer that doctors missed when they
looked at those x-rays. However, the AI also returned false positives, so it
would be a mistake to put the AI in charge of scheduling potential surgeries.
My friends son recently ask ChatGPT to create a clock that displays the
time for various locations in both analog and digital format. It returned
a Python program that would not compile. Luckily, thanks to issues which
have been posted over the years on this forum, I was able to figure out
the problem.
When he ran the program, it drew a circle with no numbers for the analog
clock. It then placed the digital clock in the center of the circle, and
placed the hands for the analog clock near the lower right corner of the
page, well outside of the analog clock face.
So I guess the bottom line is make sure the results make sense.
Don't trust it to make critical decisions.

You cannot ask Artificial Intelligence to tell the meaning of life,
But it will be a realistic demand to ask him to analyze a code.

Assuming the AI is proficient in said code.
