Hi again guys!
You are great! But is there anyway to play mp4 videos in firefox (using piCore)? Could mp4 videos be played in piCore in another way? Thanks beforehand!

You can use ffplay, provided by the ffmpeg extension.

Thanks for your response. I have ffmpeg ondemand. So if I load that vill mp4 videos work in Firefox? // meo

Also, if you load the ffmpeg extension then firefox will play .mp4 videos
-
You can use https://html5test.com/ to check, but yes, ffmpeg will enable mp4 playback in Firefox.

Hi juanito! The video plays but there is no audio. I have alsa loaded. Do I need to load another extension? I have my RPi hooked up to a flatscreen TV (old but works). Any help will be greatly appreciated. // meo

Hi meo
In addition to ALSA, Firefox now also requires pulseaudio.tcz.
Be sure to read the .info file:

Thanks Rich! My brain feels kind of fried right now so I have to let it cool down. Have solved a bunch of other quirks today so I think I need some sleep. Will give it a shot tomorrow. Thanks to y'all! // meo
