Hello,
In 2011 a heroe a heroe member reported that the "Set Time" entry in the context menu (on desktop) did not work (cf. http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php/topic,12007.msg63909.html#msg63909 (http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php/topic,12007.msg63909.html#msg63909).
Today, for me, this issue isn't solved in Coreplus 14.0 i686.
Thank you.
Friendly.

Hello everybody,
I just figured out SystemTools/SetTime on desktop.
This is the time setting of the computer via the Internet (pool.ntp.org).
Tinycore is great ;).
Amen

Hi Rantanplan,
Is Your "Set time" ok already?
-
Hello @jazzbiker,
It is set in UTC time.
I saw the subject, and the wiki, about setting tz in the bootloader.
Thank you.

Well, nice!
I don't remember whether wiki reminds about refreshing Your RTC according to the system time, but I found this convenient
sudo hwclock -w -u
By the way if Your issue is gone You may want to ask our admin @Rich mark the topic as solved ;-)
Have a nice Core!
