Title: IBM ThinkPad 570 Xorg problems

Greetings, i have following problem - I can't run Xorg server, black screen appears and nothing happens. Notebook don't respond to keyboard and ctrl+alt+delete. I checked Xorg.0.log, and there is Fatal error named "Caught signal 11. Server aborting". It's uses "neomagic" driver. When i set "vesa", nothing changes. Any advice will be appriciated

Did you try a google search on "ThinkPad 570" and "xorg.conf"?

Yes... i't worked on DSL-n and Puppy Linux, but on Tiny Core Linux don't

Hmm, everything appears to work fine, of course until it segfaults :P

What happens if you create a xorg.conf (follow the instructions in the info file) and change the keyboard driver to evdev?
