...it helps to understand the quantum computing market as a whole. There are now a lot of companies in the quantum computing market, from startups to large, established companies like IBM, Google, and Intel. They've bet on a variety of technologies, from trapped atoms to spare electrons to superconducting loops. Pretty much all of them agree that to reach quantum computing's full potential, we need to get to where qubit counts are in the tens of thousands, and error rates on each individual qubit are low enough that these can be linked together into a smaller number of error-correcting qubits.

...During the interlude they make an escape and sing while driving a lookalike of The General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard (using the numbers 07 instead of 01, minus the Confederate flag on the roof, and a 1968 rather than 1969 model year) and Starsky & Hutch's Ford Gran Torino. The band drives into a suburb, where they perform a concert in front of a 1950s bus, with a female motorcyclist, dressed like Evel Knievel, performing stunts. The video ends with a shot of the cyclist stuck on a tree. The video features Carmit Bachar from the Pussycat Dolls playing an angel.

remembered another "Q" ... Quintillion
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quintillion
mostly because of that whole "Gangnam Style music video 'broke' YouTube view limit" thing

4.5 Billion views and counting:

lol...and speaking/thinking about Billions

(poor nicole, even if the rocket weathers the storm...anything that 'happens' afterwards will be blamed on her)

SUGGESTION: I want a bookmark feature on this forum for such threads.

Hi TT
Most web browsers not only allow you to bookmark web pages but also
support creating categories (folders) to keep them separate and organized.
-
isn't a forum search for 'qubit' enough?
and yet...still...oopsie! forgot another 'Q' that was originally intended for the OP...sigh...

does it date me to say that i have been in love with Judi Dench forever...more-sighing...

Hi Rich. I know, I know, I found a bookmark feature on other forums, and screaming about it even helped one to find a no-show glitch and have it fixed. It is just super convenient to bookmark site-specific threads on inside / have a "gold fund/stash/library", and don't worry about forgetting search keywords while changing browsers. Well, I have nothing against to remain ascetic, thin, and pale. Of course, I'm just kidding :)
P.S. I'm taking an opportunity to ask: I've seen TinyCore 14.x branch (http://www.tinycorelinux.net/14.x/), but not for x86*. Any soon? (may be including upcoming 6.1 kernel)

We're looking at 6.1, yes.

Thanks-thanks-thanks for your prospective! Just a heads up, this time for porteus's w.i.p., taken two hours ago if smbd is watching (tl;dr: search for 22.11 on both links):
