Title: Does them drivers exist and where to install them?
Post by: Dissi on February 27, 2022, 06:27:04 AM
Hi,

i'm new to TC and want to create an old PC to a windows 95/98 like linux PC (a simple folder manager, some games, etc.) The PC has 2 HDDs. On the main i want to install TC Plus or more i have installed TC Plus and the second one is bigger and i want to use it as persistent storage for extensions, documents, etc.

I also have an old printer at home. Does there a driver exist for old printers?
I have a WLAN-USB-Adapter. Does there also a driver for that exists?
I also want to install a simple folder manager. Which one can you recommend?

If yes (to the first two), whats the drivers name? Or does a standard driver just came out of the box? And where to install them: drivers and folder manager on the main HDD or can i install them also on the second HDD?

Printer driver: it depends on your printer make/model, but you can use the cups and/or gutenprint and/or hplip extensions
Folder manager: you can try the emelfm extension, but there are many others

Use the apps gui to mange extensions
