Post by: zacmario on January 09, 2022, 07:55:26 PM
Hi, sorry if this is the wrong forum. Bad habbit of do that..
I'm looking at the tiny core 20mb download, wired connection only.
I wondered if I USB tether my phone with wifi if that counts. I know other distros show it as an Ethernet connection when I do this.

Quick guess, not without installing wifi.

You may need to install the usb-serial extension, and possibly others. While many usb-ethernet adapters are supported natively, phones emulating that are a bit different.

Hi, zacmario.

Perhaps this is what you're looking for if you're trying to connect to internet via a smart phone.
