Hi All,
I am using tinycore on a specifc hardware which is fixed and there will be no more additions dynamically. But, the kernel checks for all hardware during bootup which takes up more time than required. Is there anyway to hardcore the hardware such that the kernel does minimal checks and directly loads the initrd.
That will save lot of boot time. Any suggestions regarding this?
Thanks in advance

What is your level of experience with building linux kernels? This link

is a good start.
There are numerous kernel options. It can be hard to know what you need, but with some study and experimentation you can figure out what your particular hardware requires.
