Hello! I ran into a problem and would like to ask for your help.
I installed TC 12 Core Plus with X gui on my computer on the sdb1 partition. The sda1 partition has Linux Mint Debian edition. When i select Tiny Core linux in Grub menü ,then starts but X does not start. This is what the TC-box writes:
tg3 0000:3f:00.0 eth0: Link is up at 1000 Mbps, full duplex tg3 0000:3f:00.0: Flow control is off for TX and off for RX.
random: Crng init done .
What could be the problem? Sorry for the English, greetings from Hungary and Thank you very much!

What happens when you type “startx”?
-
- sh: startx: not found :-\
-
This is the Grub entry on the debian system:
located in /etc/grub.d/40_custom
https://pastebin.ubuntu.com/p/Nr4BkZ2Skn/
Could this be the problem? This worked great with TC 11.

If startx is not found, load the Xvesa, flwm, aterm and wbar extensions and try again.

Its solved! The problem was, that i Installed Tiny Core with boot-loader and marked the partition bootable. As result, grub did not loaded the partition as root. So Premission denied for all. That was the Problem. I reinstall TC correctly and all right! Thank you verry much!

I would have one more question, I hope it's okay to ask that much.
I have a AMD/ATI RS780C (Radeon 3100) integrated videocard.
I want to install the driver for it,because it is slow and stutters when I scroll in the firefox webbrowser. i think, that is a driver problem. I set in Xvesa a high Screen Resolution its okay, but the problemi still have.
i found driver, xf86 ati, amdgpu and firmware. I tried one after the other but always black screen received. The Monitor say: "No signal".
I deleted it also and run tiny core with default.
my question would be how and which driver should i install?
Many thanks for our help!

You need to install Xorg-7.7 as well as the xf86-video driver for your hardware instead of Xvesa.

How exactly did you solve the problem ?
Judging from the grub code you provided, you most likely have a UEFI installation.
tc-install can't handle that.
Do you recall the steps it takes to get there ?
BTW, you won't need root=(UUID), we use tce=(UUID) instead.
I have a AMD/ATI RS780C (Radeon 3100) integrated videocard.
...
my question would be how and which driver should i install?
Have you tried firmware-radeon.tcz and perhaps graphics-KERNEL.tcz ?
-
I installed TCE without bootloader and i not marked the partition bootable. (First was LMDE 4 installed with default grub on dev/sda1).
In the Debian system after TCE was installed on dev/sdb1, i editet the grub.d : (as root): nano /etc/grub.d/40_custom
and the entry:
https://pastebin.ubuntu.com/p/Nr4BkZ2Skn/
the uuid from dev/sdb1 founded with "blkid".
then "sudo update grub". After restart TC was in the Grub menü.
I tried firmware-raden.tcz but graphics-KERNEL.tcz not, I'll try, Thank you!

Both partitions are ext4.
-
I see.
You copied the files with the installer and adjust the bootloader yourself.

So, its works! Many Thanks! I installed xorg7.7, then i installed graphics/kernel.tcz, and firmware-amdgpu.tcz, and xf86-amdgpu.tcz.
With firmware radeon and xf86-ati dos not work, was black screen.
Thank you very much for help! TC are a very good team and you are always ready to help
