Hello,
current tzdata.tcz package contains outdated 2015f - several updates were happened since then, like Day Light Saving start/end timings change, cancelled DST, etc. in various countries. We found that hour shift in Brazil, as Brazil cancelled DST until further notice.
Can we have updated IANA TZ database - which is 2020a (https://www.iana.org/time-zones) to replace ?
we'd like to have updated tzdata.tcz in 9.x, 10.x and 11.1 of x86_64 (we are working on to migrate our system to 11.1 now, but it will take for a while...) but it may not harm to udpate x86 as well.
Thanks!

There aren't any executables in tzdata so one extension file should cover all versions and platforms. Postgresql requires it so I could add it to the list of extensions I regularly maintain if @dentonlt chooses not to resume regular updates. The lastest tzdata is compiled into PHP, there isn't any reasonable way around that.

Hi andyj
... I could add it to the list of extensions I regularly maintain if @dentonlt chooses not to resume regular updates. ...
dentonlt hasn't been active since August 1 so you might want to send him a PM to try to alert him.

We typically do not update extensions in previous versions of tinycore.
Edit: added updated tzdata to 11.x x86 repo

The tzdata extension doesn't have executables, so it should work for previous versions of TC as well.
