I'm confused. The topic says "x86_64", the shown links indicate x86 and there is a socat.tcz. A "file" on the downloaded executable /usr/local/bin/socat finds "ELF 64-bit LSB executable ...".
Shouldn't the tcz be in http://tinycorelinux.net/11.x/x86_64/tcz/? The version in http://tinycorelinux.net/10.x/x86/tcz/ is 32 bits.

Hmm, so I added more confusion ...
The 11.x/x86/tcz/socat.tcz contains the correct 32-bit version. What I'm really looking for is the 11.x x86_64-version.
PS: How can I edit/delete an entry?

Hi emmi
Although the title indicated 64 bit, the requester referenced 32 bit repositories when they posted the request. The date
in the .info file for:
http://tinycorelinux.net/11.x/x86/tcz/socat.tcz.info
indicates that was the extension Juanito posted.
I checked the 2 TC10 and the TC11 versions and all are for the correct architecture.

Hi Rich,
Obviously I made one (or more) mistakes when trying to get socat.tcz for x86_64.
I started with TinyCorePure64 6.4.1, just because I had this on an USB drive. A socat is not available for installing, there is no tcz in http://tinycorelinux.net/6.x/x86_64/tcz. So I thought it is time to use a recent version of TinyCorePure64, fetched the 11.1 version and gave it a try: Socat is not available for installing, there is no tcz in http://tinycorelinux.net/11.x/x86_64/tcz. So I searched the forum and found this topic. The title referenced the 64-bit version, the shown links refer to the 32-bit version. For reasons not mentioned here a 32-version was created and added to the 32-bit repository. That is there is still no 64-bit version available for 11.1.
So I looked at all the http://tinycorelinux.net/*.x/x86*/tcz directories starting with version 6. And obviously I didn't correctly checked what I downloaded. It seems that there are 64-bit versions of socat for 7, 8, 9 and 10. Unfortunately the ones I want/-ed are not there.
Can someone build a 64-bit version for 11.1 (as requested in the title of this topic :-) ?
Thanks and apologies for any inconvenience/confusion I created.
