Are you using appbrowser? Did it install any of the programs in the dependency list or stopped immediately? Which TC 2.x version tried?

These are the files in the .dep file:
Code: [Select]
gtk2.tcel
atk.tcel
cairo.tcel
pango.tcel
glib2.tcel
fontconfig.tcel
expat2.tcel
libxml2.tcel
graphics-libs-1.tcel
pixman.tcel
libxfce4util.tcel
None of the ones that you listed.
Perhaps because they are not required but are desireable?

EDIT: Forget this, it seems to be there now. Both from appsbrowser and webpage.

Just found a missing dependency, gamin. Corrected .dep files submitted. Adding it to the .dep file Xfce4 install correctly and works fine on a stock 2.x

When extensions downloaded successfuly, restart TC. Xfce4 will start automatically, no need for any extra boot option.

In the last few days I finished the HAL extension. Now it works properly and detects all hardware components, including removable media, like USB stick, CD/DVD, SD card, ... hotplugged.

It was essential to add volume management to Xfce4. I'm testing a new version compiled with HAL support. There are some small issues, but basically work fine. It offers easy mount/umount, configurable automount of removable media, etc.

It will be posted in the next few days for public testing.
