Hi everybody!
Just wondering, could a extension created back in 2009 work with latest release of Tiny Core?
I was looking for most pager, but I could not find it in the extensions repository (there is jed from the same author) so I checked in the forums and I found the one created by SvOlli.
I was thinking to build one myself, but if it would be possible to use the old one it would save me the trouble.
Thanks!

Hi Ares
I take it you are referring to this one:
http://tinycorelinux.net/4.x/x86/tcz/most.tcz.info
The only dependency is slang.tcz which is still at the same version as it was back then. So I would say there's a very good chance
that most.tcz will work.

Hi Ares
It works in TC10.

Hi Rich,
You are right. It does work also in TC11.
Just out of curiosity, why do you think this .tcz was dropped from the repository?
Thanks a lot!!

Hi Ares
... Just out of curiosity, why do you think this .tcz was dropped from the repository? ...
There is a thread titled "Extensions from 4.x repo verified ok with tc-5" found here:
http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php/topic,15906.0.html
My guess is that it wasn't dropped. It was probably never reported as working in TC5 and as a result not copied over. The thread
is 14 pages long and I don't feel like looking through it. By not appearing in the TC5 repository, no one would copy it to TC6, ... etc. ....

I’ll copy it over tomorrow

most copied from tc-4.x repo to tc-11.x repo
