Found an alias in my TC 10.1 system aliasing the d key to Dmenu_run.

Searching here seems like it has not been used since TC 4:

Yeah, so I just removed the alias - easy enough.  Just wondering why it is still there or serving some other function?

Yes, it's unused and could be removed.
