Title: could dCore run in a VC882?
Post by: julcar on September 05, 2019, 04:20:10 PM
I have an *old* ViewSonic Veiwpad 10e from 2012, full specs here: http://specdevice.com/showspec.php?id=b800-28b6-103d-b3780033c587&lang=en

The board is a Vimicro VC882 and after a little search on google I could not find another option for the OS than Android 4.0.3 which I already have and is kind of obsolete nowadays.

So, I was wondering if dCore could run in this tablet.

To install dCore in tablet you would have to know how to get to bootloader, which is not easy. There is a risk of brick your tablet. But even when you install dCore in tablet, you don't have certainty that dCore have all drivers needed by your tablet. Especially touch screen.
