The recent update downloads apache2.4 as a dependency, which I don't think is true. It does not appear to be on the list.
It also does not remove apache2.4 after deletion (uninstall).
If this is not a bug, please disregard.

Looks like the same problem here...
check all the dep files in your tce directory to find which extension has a dependency on "apache2.4" Or you can check this with APPS > Maintenance > dependencies and deletions, select apache2.4 and "list required by" the results will inform you why the system will not allow deletion of this dependancy

OK. I got it sorted.
I skipped the 'build reporting database' step.
This suggests to me that if it is a required action prior to 'fetch missing dependencies', it should probably be combined into a single action. That would eliminate the confusion and prevent the mistake.
