Hello,
I am trying to find the smallest distro to use as NAS VM for my machine
At first from what i see the smallest version is only 11 Mb...when its installed what are the space reqs
After that and probably most important ..how much RAM for running as NAS without hiccups
I am not looking for something extreme
2 machines on a gigabit wired network ...one acting as a NAS...i just want to serve 100Mb+ when i push/pull files..the drives can support them ..its just a question if the handler can cope...
I am trying to make it as lightweight as possible...no graphics..no nothing..just a few shared folders and that's all.

You'll probably need to decide the ram requirements by trial and error.
You can find the size of the extensions you'll need by looking at their info files.

Ok i will do that..
Is there a quick guide for setting Samba for Tiny Core text only

This shows an old machine I used to use as a SAMBA server:
