I'm trying to run Tiny Core Linux on a HP laptop. This laptop has a Ralink RT5390 Wireless card in it, as shown by this output of 'lspci -k' run in Linux Mint.
01:00.0 Network controller: Ralink corp. RT5390 Wireless 802.11n 1T/1R PCIe
Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company U98Z077.00 Half-size Mini PCIe Card
Kernel driver in use: rt2800pci
Kernel modules: rt2800pci
However when I boot up Tiny Core and load the rt2800pci module (modprobe rt2800pci), it doesn't seem to enable my WiFi card at all. 'ifconfig' just lists the eth0 and lo network interfaces (no wlan0), and 'rfkill list all' shows no output.

Hi Ninjacowboy
After loading rt2800pci module copy and post here the last 10 lines from “dmesg” output

Sorry, my flash drive got corrupted again. I'll have to reinstall a third time.

Hi
Most likely you'll need the ralink firmware extension installed
