Hi
I wold like to use monitor + tv , extended monitors, so I think the only way is to use the proprietary nvidia driver.
Thanks in advance
-
Which dCore kernel are you using, as there is a kernel module wrapper that has to be built against the kernel.

Ho Jason
I would prefer to use wayland, enlightennent in artful from the niko2040 ppa is compiled with wayland enabled, but I don't know if It works in dCore artful.
Thanks Jason

Hi Jason
If you don't have time don't worry since I also have Ubuntu mate on the pc
-
There is a PPA for nvidia drivers that includes version 340, can be added with the below:
sce-ppa-add ppa:graphics-drivers/ppa
But that does leave the kernel module issue, and upon reading more on the nvidia driver there is more to it besides installing the binary than building the kernel module. With no hardware to test it on, there is really nothing I can do further.

Hi
I've succesfully built nvidia 340.104 sce
I'm now uploading it on my gdrive and I'll share for you later, it can be used also in tc 8.x I think, just rename it to tcz

Great, I have downloaded it. I will place your uploaded nvidia-340.104.sce in http://tinycorelinux.net/dCore/x86/release_candidates/dCore-artful/sce/. If you don't mind, I will rename it to nvidia-340.104-4.8.17-tinycore and place in tar.gz format so folks using any x86 dCore with the 4.8.17 kernel can import it as part of a custom list file. The kernel version needs to be in the name in the prebuilt import area as it has kernel modules. Let me know if that is ok.
Thanks.

Hi
For me it's ok, thank you very much Jason.
For me it was enough the tar.gz.
