Title: [HELP] PXE boot with GUI
Post by: brunok on January 05, 2018, 11:42:36 AM
Hello,

I come to you because i can't apply a solution in an environment.

I set up a PXE (CentOS) server and delivering the TinyCore 8.2 via TFTP to ThinClients.

The boot loads fine, however, it is only in text mode.  :'(
I need the graphical interface for a RDESKTOP solution.

I tried to use the method of this wiki  - NFS export - (http://wiki.tinycorelinux.net/wiki:netbooting), but without success.

Please, can anyone help me?

Hi brunok
Maybe you could post what you did to solve your issue as a courtesy to other individuals who run into the same problem
in the future.

Yes, it's work.

Extensions (Xvesa and dependencies) are loaded from NFS sharing.

For now, i will try create only ONE .tcz with all files and dir, to make more fast boot. Actually, the extensions are loaded one by one and leaves the boot a bit slow.
