Mesa 17.2 has just been released, see: http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=Mesa-17.2-Released
It has tremendous performance gains, especially for Radeon hardware, see: http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=mesa-172-branch&num=1
Can you please update to it?

posted for x86_64 - x86 to follow at some point
-
posted for x86 also

I don't see the x86 one in the repository, but I did send in for submission mesa.tcz and the version is 17.2.1(separate from Juanito's submission). There is no mesa.tcz (unless I'm missing something or the libraries are statically linked or included in other packages, which is possible).

It might have been good to ask before submitting.
The mesa files are contained in Xorg-7.7-3d, libEGL. libGL, etc

The extension is called "Xorg-7.7-3d":
32-bit:
http://repo.tinycorelinux.net/8.x/x86/tcz/Xorg-7.7-3d-dev.tcz.info
64-bit:

I had asked them to rename it to "Mesa", but they did not want to do it, see:

;)
17.2.2 is available now by the way: https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=Mesa-17.2.2-Released

Possibly then have a meta package mesa.tcz which loads Xorg-7.7-3d.tcz because then it would make sense to people who need Xorg and also to people who are trying to build extensions that need mesa?
-
..but people who are familiar enough with tinycore to be able to build extensions would know to use the apps gui "provides" function to find out which extension provides the required mesa dev files ;)
