Title: SciTE editor
Post by: kerpob on June 23, 2009, 08:23:06 AM
I see that we have scintilla in the extensions - is there any chance of SciTE please? I use scite for actionscript - very nice editor with highlighting and code completion - rare for Linux and actionscript without going down the over-involved eclipse road.

TBH I'm not sure what the difference is between scite and scintilla, but I think that scite is simpler and has less deps.

I believe SciTE uses Scintilla under the hood.

I have download from the repository the scite.tcz and it's yours SciTE (SciTe means Scintilla Text Editor) the same as said in the description file. It's really a very good text editor for a lot of programming lenguages.
