first of all thank you for the great work on this wonderful OS. My question is: is there an image viewer for the v8 I could use?

hi: Try ImageMagick.
BTW: Dillo browser can display .jpg and .png and GIF. Good enough to just see the image
Dillo browser is not yet in repo, but I reported the extension from 7.x repo fit for piCore_8.0

thank you for the info. I guess I would need at least something like feh, or feh :] I`ll give the feh from v7 a try or downgrade to v7.

But will give imagemagick a try first too :]
