Title: tiny core direct disk install
Post by: pravink on October 12, 2016, 07:33:42 AM
Hi All,

I want to install tiny core directly on the disk. Please let me know if any kickstart method is available for automating tcz install.

what do you mean by "kickstart method"?

If you can boot the CorePlus iso, you can use the tc-install program.

Otherwise you can use manual commands to install a boot loader and copy the core files to the hd.

If you take a look at the tc-install script, you can remove the questions and hardcode the answers.

When you've booted from the iso you really have to read the options menu to spot the one that means install permanently to hard drive.  I missed it for days.
