Title: Save apps in TC
Post by: yash.nikhil on September 27, 2016, 10:28:14 AM
hi,
I am new user of TC and i installed it in VirtualBox. I downloaded and installed an app dillo and when i reboot TC it disappeared. I think it happened because TC runs on RAM. So, is there any solution for save apps permanently in TC?

This probably happened because you installed from an iso, which causes tinycore to act like was booted from cd/dvd.

If you enable a hard disk in your vm, you can download the tc-install extension and install to the vm hd - once done and rebooted, extensions will be saved to the vm hd.

There have been a couple of threads on this subject in the forums recently.
