Help, the repo is down (and I think its been down for a few days).
Who do I ask to fix this please?
Thanks

I restarted the server
Note that you can use the mirrors extension in conjunction with the apps gui to use a mirror if/when the server is down.

Hi,
Thanks... I've only just started to use Tinycore 8.0..... without a gui... any way to do this from the CLI?

"tce-load -w mirrors" will download the extension
-
thx again...
the repo browser is still down...

According to the logs, it was up when you made your post. Lots of downloads were happening.

Hi bpgoa
I once got that behavior when my tcemirror file got messed up. What's the output of:
cat /opt/tcemirror
-
I'm not sure the OP is referring to the repo itself which is fine. Instead I think he maybe referring to the "OnlineBrowser" which is down at present
http://packages.tinycorelinux.net/ (http://packages.tinycorelinux.net/) ??

Thanks guys... its both... as I'm new to this distribution, I've been using the repo browser to learn about the available packages... its not working at present...
Also, last week I was not able to get packages from the repository... I worked around it ... (wanted to install tcpdump,,, ran wireshark and port mirrored on the switch instead) so not tried again yet.. sure i will be trying again later today
Thanks

Hi Juanito
I think something may be wrong with the repo. I get a blank page when I go to the following links:
http://tinycorelinux.net/7.x/x86/tcz/compiletc.tcz.info
http://tinycorelinux.net/6.x/x86/tcz/compiletc.tcz.info
http://tinycorelinux.net/5.x/x86/tcz/compiletc.tcz.info
For TC4 I get the information:
http://tinycorelinux.net/4.x/x86/tcz/compiletc.tcz.info
but it's the only TC4 extension I found that would return an info page.
The following links should return a list of available packages but return blank pages:
http://tinycorelinux.net/7.x/armv6/tcz/
http://tinycorelinux.net/7.x/armv7/tcz/

We have a problem with the server - hopefully it can be fixed soon.
In the meantime the mirrors should work OK.

Yesterday's downtime was caused by a kernel panic, it appears. Should be all good now.
