Title: My first experience with Tiny Core [misleading docs??]

Hi guys, new user here!

I just wanted to share a thing I've found while trying to use the Copy Mode.

I couldn't find in the documentation/faqs/readmes/book that you have to create the file "copy2fs.flg" in the "tce" directory for it to work.

I mean, docs only say this:

Copy Mode: TCZ/Install + copy2fs.flg/lst

And that's all. I had to browse google for 30 minutes before finding the solution.

It may seem trivial but it isn't.

Now the good: It's an amazing system, exactly what I needed.

Thanks to all devs/users that have made this possible. I plan to use it on the raspberry pi for all my projects (piCore).

It took me weeks to work it out and I was quite embarrassed when I worked out how trivial it was.

Welcome jvalencia

I believe the recommended procedure is using APPS, then installation options, then select from one of the available options

That must be the problem. I don't use the GUI for my purposes.

It should be documented how to use copy mode from the CLI imho.

The Wiki is user contributed AIUI so I believe you're welcome to add any useful information.   

In just a basic search I found many references on how copy mode works, while I didn't read them all looking command line references as that important info was missing from the original question.

Perhaps curaga can shed some light on why there are strong references to the APPS usage but little in regard to command line usage of copy mode install??

The book was aimed at users new to core, thus a GUI focus. Other places, nobody got to it yet ;)
