Title: Creating an ISO
Post by: silvermangb on April 29, 2016, 09:53:23 PM
As an alternative to installing extensions over the internet, I thought I would make an ISO with the extra extensions I need.

1) I opened the tinycore iso and copied the boot and cde directories to my mac.
2) I used curl to download those extensions to the cde/optional directory.
3) I created the md5 files for those extensions.

I then created an ISO from that directory. But, it will not boot.

Any ideas?

Use the remaster program.

The commands are also covered in the wiki page on remastering.
