Title: dCore-* on usb fat32/ext2
Post by: cyrus104 on April 23, 2016, 06:13:52 PM
I am working to install dCore on a USB drive but fat32 is not working. Will I be able to open the TCE folder and make modifications for new modules?

Thanks

With fat32 you must use the "sce-import -r" RAM option to use RAM for sce-import to unpack package files for one thing.  Are you wanting to make a bootable USB?

Yes, a bootable USB drive with the TSE folder on there as well.

I am working on the usb installer to update it to include current offerings, the quick and easy way is to use the dd command with an iso image and write it to a bootable usb, but that does not allow a TCE directory there.
