now for my question I tried to use the windows usb program and it was able to recognize the iso and the usb drive but the install button never activated any words of wisdom ?
thanks in advance

I tried with 7.0 and yes can't press install button.
From help current version is 4.7.7 , maybe that the issue ?
-
hi again
i see the source of this program is in python which i dont read
however
i will use dd to copy the iso to the usb
which is way cool anyway
i just wanted to inform tc team of this issue
i will delete this thread in a few days
thanks again to everyone from tinycore

No need to delete the thread. There's been some previous reports of core2usb not working on Windows 10, and maybe 8, I don't remember. It would be useful if you listed your Windows version.
-
I will try to allocate time to check it on WINDOWS10.
-
I have always had to 2-click the USB stick for the Install button to activate.
-
my windows version is 7
i will try the 2 click idea
thanks

thanks newuser
the 2 click on the usb idea worked
i now have a tc usb made by the core2usb program
works great - cool
a strange thing happened though
the usb didnt load x
when i looked at the usb i noticed that the cde directory was named tce
i changed it to cde and x then loaded
dont know how that could have happened
cde is not named tce in the iso is it
anyway success
thanks tc team - fantastic work

Hi ulfr
when i looked at the usb i noticed that the cde directory was named tce
That's what it should be. cde is only used for read-only media.

I just used core2usb on Win10 (free upgrade version) and it worked normally.
