FOSS Force (fossforce dot com) is holding their annual "What's Your Distro" poll to determine which distro will receive the "FOSS Force Best Linux Distro Award for 2015"... because we all know that the most popular distro (among participants in such polls) will be the "best".
They indicate that last years first and second place winners won with only 473 (Ubuntu) and 462 (Mint) votes, so I'm thinking that, with just with the new forum members since mid July, we could capture that honor.
Of course, Tiny Core Linux is not on the official ballot but they do have a write-in box.
Yeah, I know. It's not a "distro", it's a "tool kit". Just trying to have some fun here. ;D

Hi Lee
I think a show of force is in order here. To vote, go to:

Well that's 2. Last year we were in a 9 way tie for 29th place. Certainly we have enough active members to do a lot
better than that this time. You're here because Tinycore does something for you, so take a minute to give something
back by voting for Tinycore at:

Attendance is mandatory. :) :D ;D

Just use Tinycore. We don't want any confusion that might cause the votes to be listed as two different distros.

Vote re-cast from another *Core system due to ambiguity :)

I know of course. I jokingly subsummized all "Others" as Tiny Core.
Nevertheless, our annual growth rate will beat "them" by far. :)

Why would anyone type in a wrong name on purpose? If it's "Tiny Core Linux", then it's "Tiny Core Linux" and not "Tinycore", simple as that. You probably can't expect others not reading this forum to type it as "Tinycore", since it's simply not correct. They would probably type in "Tiny Core Linux". So it probably would make more sense to go forward with "Tiny Core Linux" from now on IMHO...
