Title: Tiny core for headless Emby server?

Originally I was using a first GEN raspberry pi with Raspbian as a headless server for emby. Unfortunately it's slow to boot and has many features I don't need. Tiny Core Linux fits the bill performance wise and is as minimal as you can get. Unfortunately it's a little bit different than most distro's I'm use to. Has anyone had success trying to install emby with the mounted USB drive for data?
