Title: extlinux.conf/bootcodes
Post by: emninger on November 04, 2015, 10:14:13 AM
To tweak my keyboard and local settings, i looked in the http://wiki.tinycorelinux.net/wiki:boot_options (http://wiki.tinycorelinux.net/wiki:boot_options). There i read:
Code: [Select]
tinycore lang=en Choose Language (currently english only)
tinycore kmap=us Choose Keyboard (currently us only)

in other words, tweaking that both is absolutely useless?

On the other hand in the https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Syslinux (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Syslinux) i found there are also, for syslinux settings like LC_ALL and LANGUAGE. But this would not apply to Tinylinux?

The (info in parenthesis) means in the base, without extensions. Other languages are available if you've selected them in getlocale, keymaps if kmaps.tcz is loaded.
