Title: How do I go about getting the latest chrome-browser for TC 4.7.7
Post by: yogi_al on October 22, 2015, 10:41:16 AM
Hi,

For some reason Iam stuck with TC 4.7.7 and I have also downloaded the chrome-browser using the app, but the browser is old and does not support web pages which are HTML5 compliant.
How do I go about creating an extension with the latest chrome-browser running on TC 4.7.7? Any suggestions will help. Appreciate it folks.

What's the "some reason" you're stuck with tc-4.7.7?

You don't know how to update to tc-6.x or you don't wish to update?

I have a legacy POS terminal that I am trying to load TinyCore on. I have managed to get some drivers to work with the TC 4.7.7, so dont want to upgrade to a higher version.

You would probably want to use the current extension as a base, extract its contents, replace old with new files, and repack.

Or you send a message to the maintainer of the extension requesting an update.
