This Ubuntu point release does not really involve base dCore files, mainly for patches for rebuilding packages and kernel related stuff, but nevertheless I will examine the base files and see what has changed.  I do this occasionally with the base images.

I have repacked the base of dCores in the last month or two and will do it again soon.  I aim for about every 3 months unless a reason to sooner as was the case with dCore-xenial recently.  The individual packages that our base system or a Ubuntu hard drive install consists of get updated on a regular basis in the Ubuntu repo independent of the point release.
