Hello! ;)
I would like to request latest release of ClamAV, 0.98.7, as simple rescue - command line - tool for infected Windows-based PCs
Kind regards

There are already dozens of bootable antivirus scanning CDs.

So very off putting:
There are already dozens of bootable antivirus scanning CDs.
I would like to use clamav on TC also. Many of the options available are hundreds of megabytes in size. IMHO TC is the perfect platform for rescue operations, antivirus in particular.
Would someone be kind enough to help us with a clamav extension, please?

ClamAV v0.97.6 is available in TC 4, so i'm sure there's a way to make it work or get it updated for TC 6.
Can read more here and maybe test yourself:
http://packages.tinycorelinux.net/index.php?cont=lists&ccname=repolist1&act=view&gcb=10916
Don't know if this .tar includes build notes or just outdated source code:
http://distro.ibiblio.org/tinycorelinux/4.x/x86/tcz/src/clamav/
...navigate up a couple directories if you want to download/test the old .tcz extension
Old dependencies from TC 4:

PS: Did you PM the original extension maintainer with your update request?

Thanks nitram. I sent a PM to remus. Could you point me in the direction of some documentation on building extensions?

There's a nice extension creation primer in the Core book:
http://tinycorelinux.net/book.html
Then take a look at the wiki and this forum link:

ClamAV is now on v0.98.7.

Very nice. Thank you.
