It should be noted that 9.04 is a beta release. This was the main reason for not 'updating' it in the first place, iirc.
-
my intention on updating p7zip was to provide p7zip-full for archive managers such as xarchiver and file-roller other than that i don't know if this is a beta release but if you want you can edit info to add a note about it
-
It seems to be the latest stable. But this also brings up the issue of contacting the original extension maker before updating their extensions. I made a statement on this in the extension guidelines and will also make a sticky in the TCE Talk area. Keeping extensions updated is good, but respecting the original extension maintainer is even more important. Communicating intentions on updating an extension needs to take place before it is updated and submitted.
-
afaik it's a beta from the upstream 7-zip project, which is what p7zip is based on.
I don't know how 'stable' it would be. If there are concerns, perhaps this could be renamed to another set of extensions.
