Hello
I installed Tiny Core Plus Open Box WM in Virtual Box.
Installed Firefox Latest in 'On Demand' mode.
But I am unable to execute the application using 'RunProgram'
firefox-latest.sh
Can someone help me resolve this?
Also which folder are the applications and saved data stored?
Thanks

If you installed firefox-latest "ondemand" then you might need to load the extension prior to being able to access firefox-latest.sh.
Try "tce-load -i firefox-latest" from a terminal window.

tce-load -i firefox-latest
When i run the command, I get the message
firefox-latest is already installed!

It is not clear that you understand what firefox-latest does.
It is not the latest firefox. It is a program that creates a firefox extension from downloads.
After loading firefox-latest.tcz, you need to run firefox-latest.sh.
This will build a firefox extension that you can then load and run.

Thanks a lot this works.

Another newbie here .. when I completed the firefox download and install the script informed me that I needed to reboot to complete installation -- I'm assuming this is due to the old 'latest' is still in place. This is a problem, at the moment my system is doing some work that may not complete for a day or two .. so rebooting is not an option, is there a way around this?

Hi hal9king
If you have an older version of Firefox installed, I would wait a day or two. If not, you could try using the Apps utility:
Apps->Load App Locally

Thanks again Rich ... as you can tell I'm hanging around waiting for these processes to get to a point I can reboot.

the firefox-latest script utilizes the standard tc update procedure, this is not an in-place update therefore requires a reboot to complete.
firefox-latest runs as expected from OnDemand menu, as well as from the Applications menu. the extension does however need to be loaded
