bmarkus,
I see you are listed as the maintainer for libevdev. I created my own version libevdev 1.3.2 because I needed it to compile evemu. I submited my updated package as libevdev-1.3.2.tcz yesterday along with my evemu-tools.tcz, but wasn't sure if that was actually the right move, or if the updates should have been kept in your original libevdev.tcz to avoid needing to change version numbers in *.dep files for other extensions.
Let me know if you have any suggestions on how to proceed...

You are making a statement in the Extension requests board that while you know the maintainer of an extension who is active here day by day submitted an extension before contacting him. In general it is breaking our rules.

I apologize.
That was not my intent.
I didn't mean to step on any toes. I was just happy to get evemu functioning, and ended up bundling the libevdev stuff with it when I sent it off. I'm rather new to the world of submitting TCZs.

Hi zhudock
For future reference, if you wish to update an existing extension, PM the current maintainer for permission. If you do not receive a response
in a week, you can update it.

Thank you,
For any future submissions I'll be sure to to that.
I'd be happy to make any necessary changes to my evemu + libevdev submission to remedy this and get it approved.

I will update libevdev

Much appreciated.
Sorry again for any issue this may have caused.
